...on my first date!

yep, we've decided to start dating.. which is very exciting for me, since we never did that before.. although 3yrs 3months living together must count for something.. my first date is Saturday nite.. he's coming to pick me up from my hotel, and we're going out dancing! i'm stupid excited.. i can't decide what to wear.. i'm even a little "butterfly's in the tummy-ish" which is very silly because we've been together forever now, it seems like.. but it's new and different and fun.. and i'm really looking forward to the change of pace..

reverting back to the silliness of almost 4 years ago

thinking back upon the days of carp, and whales, and fishers, and guppies... and none of them have left the net!.. granted the whale spends more time in the boat than any other fishes are given the opportunities to.. and fishers are silly and want to catch lots of fish to sell them..and to keep them.. and the fish in the net left their schools in search of adventure.. and found themselves totally entangled and unable to escape.. but even if they were to leave the net, they would not find their way back to their schools.. and if they found their schools again the other carps and guppies and whales would no longer be welcomed to swim in those realms.. and so we swim.. and fish..

it's ok, i don't think anyone who was familiar with this analogy still reads this, or would speak to me.. but i needed some fun this evening.. and it's beautiful to be 18 again in your mind..

This is why we can't have nice things....

so i didn't vote..

because being born in the state of Michigan does not make you an American citizen if you live in the commonwealth of Virginia.. and although I physically reside in Pennsylvania, I havn't changed my residency yet (life is just too busy to even breathe sometimes, and it wasn't a top priority, as I assumed that my vote would be counted in absentia).. so now I don't even get to complain that I voted for the other guy if things go poorly this term... :(  

Oh well... I was just gonna write in a vote for Hilary anyway..

So I'm sitting in Harrisburg, PA at the int'l airport enjoying their wifi.. because SB is sending me to orlando for the next 3 days.. but check-in for my flight doesn't begin for another 2 hours.. joyous..

i've been found out! :( our neighbor's aren't feeling very generous with their network anymore, so internet has been so sporadic this last week.. i'm going to have to break down and purchase it, but right now i'm making rent and car insurance the top priority.. followed by PA licenses, plates, tags etc... and then a washing machine and dryer for the new place.. because the laundry room is close.. and 24 hrs, so it's convenient.. but it's tedious.. and i'm bad at planning tomorrow's outfit in advance.. so.. after all that (and food).. then i will get my own internet! woohoo!!

i agree with Erin, it's been tooooo long since we all posted on here daily.. i miss the closeness we all used to have..

but work is progressing splendidly, and i'm enjoying everything about PA so far.. except the weather.. VA agreed with me MUCH better in that sense.. but today, I paid $2.49/gal. for gas.. i put in $19 and change and got a full tank.. granted, i had 1/8 tank to begin with, but still... it pleases me to no end..

Shannon is enjoying OG too, the school thing didn't work out for this semster, so we've got a bit of time to plan and save up for the spring, which is quite nice..
